Reporting fellowship for young Lebanese journalists [Middle East]

Experienced young Lebanese journalists are eligible to apply for this fellowship.

Democracy Reporting International (DRI), a global non-profit organization dedicated to promoting political participation and democratic governance worldwide, is offering a fellowship for 15 Lebanon based young journalists as part of the initiative "Voices from the Field: Supporting Independent Reporting in Lebanon."

Selected participants will attend four training workshops, scheduled between March and July.

Participants will produce articles, digital audio and video content, investigative reports, short documentaries and reels. Their work will focus on liberties, democratic rights, migration and internal displacement, as well as political and region-specific issues during and post-crisis/war.

Candidates should have a university degree in journalism, communications, political studies, law or a related field, along with four to five years of journalistic experience in political news outlets or news websites, and strong journalism writing skills.

Applicants should send their CV, motivation letter, samples of their work and one-minute audio-visual elevator pitch to the mentioned email in the opportunity.
