Remote training covers health disinformation [Africa, Eurasia]

Journalists and media organizations from Georgia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, India, Egypt, Jordan, Algeria and Ethiopia are eligible.

CRDF Global and the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) are inviting journalists from select countries to register for free online training to provide journalists with the skills and strategies to properly identify and counter disinformation around health security issues.

This online training, consisting of both pre-recorded modules and live interactive webinars, will equip participants with tools to understand state-based narratives, identify disinformation campaigns and its sources, know where to find credible sources, and understand the methods used to assess and counter disinformation. 

These trainings will be provided in English with translation and interpretation available in Russian, Arabic, and Bahasa Indonesia. Modules and live webinars will be broadcast in February.

The deadline to register is Feb. 2.
