Journalists working in the Congo Basin are invited to participate in this free event.
The Pulitzer Center's Rainforest Journalism Fund is organizing a workshop and networking convening May 22 to 24 in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The training will be tailored to the specific challenges or key issues for reporting on environmental issues in the Congo Basin.
Up to 20 journalists selected from across the Congo Basin region, including Rainforest Journalism Fund grantees. Preference will be given to candidates from Cameroon, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Congo-Brazzaville, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
Participants will receive transportation, accommodations and meals.
The deadline is Feb. 29.
