Posted on Oct 25, 2024 in Investigative Journalism

Experienced investigative journalists based in the Amazon, Congo Basin and Southeast Asia regions can apply for this yearlong fellowship.

The Pulitzer Center is offering a reporting fellowship for its Rainforest Investigations Network (RIN).

Fellows will work on individual and collaborative reporting projects focusing on the drivers of deforestation across the world’s three main tropical rainforest regions.

The fellowship will cover the reporter’s salary and provide support for the media outlet that employs the journalist (if on staff) or that agrees to host the fellow (if a freelancer).

Journalists based at major global media outlets can also apply.

The deadline is Dec. 31.
