Writers in the Caribbean and Central America can apply and compete for prizes up to US$500.
Caribbean Magazine Plus is accepting entries for its poetry contest. The contest has no direct theme and writers are encouraged to explore their range of ideas.
Poetry submissions must be original and impactful.
Submissions must be in English. Entries in another language must be submitted with an English translation. Poems must be unpublished and remain unpublished in any language until Aug. 25.
The winner will be named the Caribbean Magazine Plus poet of the year and will receive a cash prize of US$500. The second place finalist will receive US$300 and the third place finalist US$150.
The entry fee is US$15.
The deadline is Aug. 23.
