Professional or amateur photographers around the world can compete for cash prizes.

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) launches the GLF Africa 2024 Photography Awards. This competition celebrates Africa’s diverse landscapes and highlights locally-led landscape solutions.

Applicants can submit photos of Africa’s tropical forests, grasslands, drylands, peatlands, wetlands, the ocean and coasts – and African livelihoods.

The first, second and popular vote winners will receive US$400, US$300 and US$200, respectively. They will also receive a spread and interview on ThinkLandscape, and a showcase at the GLF Africa 2024 Hybrid Conference.

The deadline is July 29.
