Photographers and videographers ages 18 to 35 can submit their work about African resilience in the time of COVID-19.
Bobby Pall, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, has launched the African Art in Context — a contest that aims to showcase "African resilience in the wake of a pandemic."
Submissions should reflect the realities on the African continent. Descriptions and captions must be in English or contain English translations.
Finalists in the photography category will receive a US$200 honorarium for every selected photo, while finalists in the videography category will receive US$400 for every selected video. Finalists will also be considered by Bobby Pall for future training and exhibition opportunities.
The deadline is Dec. 31.
