Recent graduates in the United States can apply for a one-year fellowship.
PBS NewsHour is offering a fellowship in honor of its co-founder, award-winning anchor, reporter and author, Jim Lehrer. The selected fellow participates in the development and production of the PBS NewsHour.
For six months, the fellow’s responsibilities will include research, gathering editorial information and video elements; copy editing; and assisting with scripts.
For another six months, the fellow will work closely with digital and broadcast reporters and producers, shadowing them on story assignments, including in the field, and assisting with research, pitching, reporting and production of stories that will be published on the PBS Newshour's website and aired on the PBS NewsHour's nightly show.
