Open Society Fellowships in Investigative Reporting open [Africa]

Aspiring investigative journalists can apply for this program in South Africa.

The Open Society Foundations, in partnership with Wits Journalism, Rhodes School of Journalism and Media Studies, are offering Open Society Fellowships in Investigative Reporting.

Fellows can study either the Wits University BA Hons in journalism and media studies or the MA in journalism and media studies, depending on their previous qualifications and experienced. 

After completion of their program, fellows will be placed in internships with investigative teams for six months.

The fellowship covers study and travel costs, in addition to providing a stipend for 18 months.

The deadline is Aug. 31.
