The UAM/El País School of Journalism launches the workshop "Journalism in Latin America" on Oct. 25-27.
Led by El País reporter Jacobo García, participants will receive an overview of current affairs in Latin America and the relevance and impact of journalism in the region, focusing on political issues, social conflicts, ecology, feminism, violence and culture. Attendees are expected to conclude the training with a reporting piece of their own.
The cost is EUR110 (US$108). The deadline is Oct. 18.
