Journalists based in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico and Peru can register for this online training in Spanish.
Somos Crianza, with support from the FEMSA Foundation and the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), is organizing the free program “Journalism committed to early childhood," aimed at training media professionals to create impactful content that can influence public policies in favor of early childhood development.
Participants will explore the significance of early childhood in human development, the role of journalism in bringing visibility to this stage, and the factors that influence children's well-being, including mental health, violence, and inequality. They will also gain key tools for ethical reporting.
The workshop will be held for four sessions starting Aug. 5. The deadline to register is June 20. Spots are limited.
