Online workshop covers wildlife, wood trafficking reporting [Latin America]

Journalists covering environmental issues in Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil can apply for this online training in Spanish.

Fundación Gabo and the Alianza por la Fauna Silvestre y los Bosques are organizing a workshop on wildlife and wood trafficking reporting Nov. 16 to 19.

The workshop aims to contribute to the strengthening of journalistic skills to cover these issues and promote the exchange of experiences and knowledge in the region.

Twenty journalists will be selected. The instructors are Antonio Paz (Colombia), Gustavo Faleiros (Brazil), Noelia Esquivel (Costa Rica) and Nelly Luna Amancio (Peru).

Registration is free. The deadline is Oct. 30.
