Investigative journalists based in South Africa with an interest in business can participate in an online seminar.
The training will focus on the use of various sources of financial and non-financial data as a means of assessing corporate social performance, the 'S' in ESG.
Journalists will acquire relevant knowledge, trade tips and insights, apply new digital skills, and access policymakers and officials for exclusive information and story ideas to cover the socio-political implications of companies reporting on their social performance.
The seminar will be held Dec. 5 to 15. After the seminar, journalists can apply for a two-month program and be eligible for a GBP300 grant to publish their stories.
The application deadline is Nov. 15.
