Online course on using the Access to Information Act [Brazil]

The Barão de Itararé Center for Alternative Media Studies is offering the course “Access to Information Act: How it works and how to make use of it.” The course is a partnership with the organization Prerrogativas, the Brazilian Press Association, the National Federation of Journalists and the Journalists Trade Union in São Paulo.

The course is divided into four online classes of two hours each, on Aug. 22, 25, 29 and Sept. 1.

Participants will learn the relevance of the act, how to make use of it in an effective way, and how to handle classified public records.

The enrollment fee is BRL200.
