Journalists with at least three years of professional experience may apply for this online training.
Led by Chilean journalist Mónica González, 20 selected participants will explore the role of journalism during the current crisis in the region, marked by political polarization, poverty, inequality and distrust towards institutions. It will also address how to promote good journalism practices that not only recognize and reveal the importance of social cohesion in the post-pandemic, but also amplifies solutions.
To apply, candidates must submit a project and an investigative journalism piece published in the last year.
The deadline is Nov. 4.
