Emerging journalists and journalism senior students can apply for this program.

The Journalism Summer School (JSS) conducted by the New York Film Academy College of Visual & Performing Arts (NYFA), with support from the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, will take place July 26 to Aug. 13 in Moscow.

This three-week workshop will give participants the skills necessary to practice evidence-based journalism, as well as work effectively as multimedia journalists.

The program's instructors include award-winning American and Russian journalists.

Full scholarships are available, which cover tuition, transportation, housing and meals.

Applicants who live outside of the Moscow region and have an interest in local news reporting are encouraged to apply.

Because of the challenges associated with the spread of COVID-19, some or all of the Moscow JSS may be offered online.

The deadline is March 1.
