Journalists, students and academics from the Arab world who are interested in migration policies are invited to submit their papers.

The Arab Council for the Social Sciences (ACSS) has announced a call for papers for the first issue of a new Arab Journal of Displacement and Asylum, which will be published in early 2022 by the Tunis-based Arab Institute for Human Rights (AIHR).

The new Arabic-language annual journal, which will be produced in paper and online, aims to publish original research on refugees and displaced people in the Middle East and North Africa, in addition to policy analysis and monitoring the best practices to deal with forced displacement and asylum issues.

Papers must be submitted in Arabic, ranging from 5,000 to 7,000 words, with a short summary and an author’s bio of no more than 120 words each.

Submissions will be accepted until late November.
