The National Federation of Journalists in Brazil (FENAJ), with the support from the Labor Public Attorney's Office, is launching the National Research on Journalists' Mental Health during an in-person event on April 9, in São Paulo.
The event program includes talks on mental health, a keynote outlining the national research, and a press conference.
The national inquiry is looking to use qualitative and quantitative data to identify the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and the new employment arrangements in Brazil on journalists' mental health to inform the creation of health policies and to improve work conditions.
