Journalists in the United States can apply for a five-day fellowship in Washington.

The National Press Foundation (NPF) is offering the Data and Accountability Journalism Fellowship, Jan. 9 to 13, 2022.  The fellowship will help journalists sharpen their investigative, data analysis and presentation skills.

In addition, this fellowship will offer skills, top sources and best practices to journalists who want to hold federal and state and local governments accountable for how and where taxpayer funds are spent.

The all-expenses-paid program covers airfare, ground transportation, hotel costs and most meals.

The application deadline is Nov. 29.
