Journalists around the world who are reporting on poverty and injustice can register for this webinar.

The National Press Foundation is hosting the webinar “Measuring Inequality and Mobility.”  The webinar provides advice for journalists covering inequality.

The webinar will teach journalists how to find the data they need to illustrate and quantify poverty and inequality in their communities.  It will also help reporters understand which demographics are losing ground and what spending looks like at the bottom of the curve.

During the webinar on Oct. 27, journalists will also learn about mobility and avenues out of poverty.

The webinar is funded by David and Lucile Packard Foundation, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and the Heising-Simons Foundation.

Registration is ongoing.
