Journalists impacted by the recent tornadoes that ravaged communities across states in the Midwest and South can apply.

The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), in conjunction with the NABJ Hardship Relief Committee, is offering hardship relief grants to its members who are experiencing difficulties as a result of the impact of the recent tornadoes that hit several states.

Applicants are required to submit a summary explaining their hardship, which is an important part of the selection process and used by the committee in the vetting process.

Proof of NABJ membership within the last 12 months is also required.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
