Mongabay is hiring freelancers to cover stories about agroecology for an ongoing series. Mongabay is interested in agroecology because of its increased coverage of food systems as both a cause of and potential solution to a wide range of social and environmental ills.
Story pitches should be relevant to agroecology best practices research, innovative success stories, an overview of successful cooperative practices or public and private policy. Story pitches for print, video, data and multimedia journalism are welcome.
