Journalists in Africa who aspire to pursue a career in environmental journalism are invited to apply.
Mongabay Africa announced the launch of the second cohort of its scholarship program for environmental journalism in French, specifically designed for individuals on the African continent. This initiative empowers aspiring journalists residing in significant biodiversity hotspots to report on critical environmental issues.
The program’s second cohort will include 12 fellows and will take place from March to June 2025.
The deadline for applications is Jan. 31.
