Journalists, editors and media managers from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan can apply.
The Prague Civil Society Center organizes a MediActions Professional Exchanges for media professionals — a 30 to 45-day funded placement with media organizations in Eastern Europe, Central Asia or the Balkans. The program will take place in September and October.
The program will be held in English and Russian.
The project is especially interested in proposals involving investigative journalism, data journalism/data visualization, solutions journalism, broadcast journalism, community journalism, visual storytelling, support to independent media and boosting media literacy, and media management (monetization, fundraising).
Organizers will cover flight tickets, visa expenses, health insurance, accommodation, and host organizations' fees. The participants will also be given per diems covering their food, local transportation, telecommunications and related costs.
The deadline is June 27.
