The Canadian Association of Black Journalists (CABJ) is accepting candidates for the CABJ Media Startup Bootcamp, a program that helps Black media entrepreneurs and content creators.

The program offers resources to bolster or start up participants' own digital media publications. The courses will be available Nov. 1 to 20.

Program graduates will have the opportunity to apply for the CABJ Startup Grant. Five grantees will receive CAD5,000 each.

The program is free for CABJ members based in Canada. For Black journalists outside of Canada, each course costs CAD55.

The deadline is Nov. 1.
