Media briefing on carbon markets and rainforest issues [Southeast Asia]

Journalists reporting on rainforest issues in Southeast Asia can join this free online media briefing.

The National University of Singapore (NUS)'s Centre for Nature-based Climate Solutions, in partnership with Pulitzer Center's Southeast Asian Rainforest Journalism Fund, is hosting an online media briefing on carbon markets and forest conservation on May 17.

The media briefing will provide journalists with an overview of the development of carbon markets and how they relate to the Paris Agreement on climate change and feature a discussion on the other co-benefits of nature conservation.

Speakers include Professor Koh Lian Pin at NUS, Dr Axel Michaelowa, senior founding partner at Perspectives Climate Group, and Aditya Heru Wardhana, supervising editor at CNN Indonesia.
