Citizens of Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan or Ukraine who are 18-30 years old and have a good command of English can apply.
The Media Development Foundation (MDF) and Deutsche Welle Akademie (DWA) offer an intensive course on fact-checking and verification — Myth Detector Lab.
The course is three and a half months long and includes intensive on-site seminars that will be held in Tbilisi in September and online internships on the Russian- and English-language websites of "Myth Detector."
Participants will also create articles for publication on the fact-checking portal www.mythdetector.ge.
Topics include fact-checking and verification through Open-source Intelligence (OSINT) tools and techniques, identifying and detecting Coordinated Inauthentic Behavior (CIB), creating multimedia content, and more.
The program will cover all travel and accommodation expenses for participants from Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The deadline to apply is Aug. 15.
