Investigative journalists around the world can apply for US$10,000 grants to assist with reporting projects.

In These Times' Leonard C. Goodman Institute for Investigative Reporting is accepting proposals for in-depth investigative projects.  The institute provides funding for projects that align with In These Times magazine’s mission of advancing democracy and economic justice and informing movements for a more humane world.

The institute is looking for story proposals that examine the issues of corporate capture of government, the forces undermining a climate transition, U.S. militarism and empire, labor practices, native issues and systemic racism.

Successful applicants will have their investigative articles published in the print issue of In These Times magazine and/or on inthesetimes.com.

The deadline to submit proposals is Oct. 11.
