LAMPA Accelerator offers funding for data stories [Central Asia, Caucasus, Eastern Europe]

Journalists, editors, data analysts, civic activists, and developers from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan can apply.

The School of Data Kyrgyzstan is launching the LAMPA Accelerator, a financial and mentoring project to support cross-border data stories.

Participants will receive funding and mentorship to create data stories reflecting issues important to Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Eastern Europe. The total prize pool is US$16,000.

This year's program will focus on how the war in Ukraine has affected other countries.

Preference will be given to data story ideas that are important for several countries. The working language of the project is Russian.

The deadline is July 30.
