Journalists ages 18 to 40 from Germany, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania can apply for this fellowship.
The Internationale Journalisten-Programme (IJP) organizes the German-Northern European Journalists' Bursary.
The program typically sends up to 11 German and 11 Nordic journalists to work in German or Nordic newsrooms of their choice while also researching stories for their home organization.
The fellowship begins April 2021, with a three-day introduction conference in one of the Nordic capitals or Berlin, and run until May 2021.
Selected candidates receive EUR3,800, which should cover airfares, transportation, accommodation and meals.
The deadline is Nov. 15.
