Journalists in South Korea, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Germany can apply for this fellowship.
The Internationale Journalisten-Programme (IJP) is accepting candidates for the German-Asia Fellowship.
Five Asian journalists will work in Germany on a research project and within a media company. The fellowship program will begin on Oct. 15 and last until Dec. 15. At the same time, up to five German journalists will work as fellows in Asia.
Journalists ages 25 to 45 who regularly contribute to newspapers, TV and radio media as well as online services are eligible.
Fellows will receive EUR4,000 (US$4,875), which should cover most travel, food and accommodation expenses as well as health insurance.
The application deadline is July 1.
