Innovative journalists who created impactful content about internet subjects for awareness are eligible for an award.
The Internet Society is accepting nominations for the Johnathan B. Postel Service Award. The annual award is presented to an individual or organization that has made outstanding and sustained contributions in service to the internet community.
Named after internet pioneer Dr. Jonathan B. Postel, the award is focused on sustained and substantial technical contributions, service to the community and leadership.
Media organizations that created solutions which helped in accessing digital information are also eligible for the award.
The winner will receive a US$20,000 honorarium and the signature crystal engraved globe at a virtual global conference with internet technical leaders later this year.
The deadline for nominations is May 13.
