The Media for Environment Science Health and Agriculture (MESHA) will award grants to journalists to attend the 28th U.N. Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP28). The conference will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Nov. 30 to Dec. 10.

Thirteen journalists will receive grants. Of these, eight will travel to Dubai, while the remaining five will provide virtual coverage of the event from their home countries.

For fellows traveling to Dubai, MESHA will cover a non-refundable economy-class air ticket, accommodation, visa expenses, meals, travel insurance, and transportation costs.

To apply, applicants must submit a letter explaining their experience covering climate change and their motivation to cover COP28, five work samples and a letter from their editor. Email applications to info@meshascience.org.
