Reporters and editors working in print, television, radio or online media in the U.S. can apply for a fellowship.
The National Press Foundation (NPF) and AARP are offering a journalism fellowship focused on “America’s Long-Term Care Crisis: Improving Conditions for Families & Health Care Workers.” The fellowship will help journalists cover the realities of providing long-term care and support for individuals and families.
Leading researchers, policymakers, experts and advocates will discuss topics including the staggering economic realities of providing quality long-term care; providing mental health and financial support for caregivers; how technology and innovation are affecting long-term care; and more.
The four-day fellowship will be held in Washington, Oct. 1 to 4.
This is an all-expenses paid fellowship and NPF will cover airfare, hotel, transportation to the airport and most meals.
The deadline is Aug. 23.
