Jayne Miller Investigative Journalism Fellowship seeks students [US]

College seniors with an interest in television news investigative journalism can apply for a summer fellowship.

Hearst Television is offering the Jayne Miller Investigative Journalism Fellowship. This one-semester paid position at Hearst Television’s NBC affiliate WBAL-TV in Baltimore, is named in honor of Jayne Miller, a veteran journalist who served as Lead Investigative Reporter at WBAL-TV in Baltimore for more than 35 years.

The fellowship will give students exposure to the television broadcast news industry with a top-30 news market. The emphasis will be on investigative journalism with an intense focus on research, newswriting and reporting.

Students will be paid US$20 to US$21 per hour.

The deadline is May 1.
