Journalists based in the United States can apply for fellowships to attend this virtual symposium.
Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) is hosting a symposium on diversity, belonging, equity and inclusion (DBEI) issues for newsrooms. IRE is offering fellowships to assist journalists who would like to attend the symposium.
Journalists selected for the fellowships will receive one-year IRE membership or renewal and complimentary conference registration.
The DBEI symposium will be held Oct. 20 to 21.
To apply, journalists must submit one to two clips of investigative or journalistic work.
The application deadline is Sept. 23.
