Internews offers scholarships for data journalists [Kyrgyzstan]

Journalists and journalism students from Kyrgyzstan can apply for this training program.

The Internews's Media-K project offers scholarships to attend a 12-month training program in data journalism. The training will take place in Bishkek.

This program will give participants theoretical and practical knowledge needed to produce data journalism, including data searching, extraction, cleansing, refinement, analysis and visualization.

During the program, participants will work in teams. Each team is expected to create six innovative data journalism articles.

Each participant will receive a US$3,000 per year stipend.

The deadline is Nov. 14.
