International Media Management Academic Association seeks proposals [Middle East]

Arab academics, researchers, media managers and policy experts are invited to submit their research papers.

The International Media Management Academic Association (IMMAA) is accepting proposals for its 2025 Annual Conference, which will be held Oct. 17 to 19 at The American University in Cairo, Egypt.

This conference serves as a platform for discussing current and timely topics in media management, fostering collaboration and the exchange of knowledge on the latest trends, challenges and innovations in the field.

Applicants should submit their proposals in alignment with the conference’s core themes and areas of interest. These include analysis of industry and sustainable market trends; sustainable approaches to managing creative work and workers; advances and transformations in digital media technology; continuity and change in media consumption; media policy and regulation affecting media systems; advances in advertising, marketing, pricing and branding; opportunities and challenges in cross-cultural management; and curriculum and pedagogy in media management and economics education, and more.

Selected participants will have the opportunity to present original research, participate in global conversations, exchange knowledge and contribute to shaping the future of media management, both academically and professionally. The event is known for its dynamic exchange of ideas and its ability to foster collaboration across disciplines and borders.

The deadline for abstract/panel proposal submissions is June 15.
