Members of the CoronaVirusFacts Alliance and fact-checking organizations that are verified signatories of the IFCN’s Code of Principles can apply.
The International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) and WhatsApp are organizing the Vaccine Grant Program, a new global effort to stem the flow of misinformation around COVID-19 vaccines.
The initiative offers grants of up to US$100,000 to support editorial, media literacy, technology and new formats/distribution projects.
Projects must be launched no later than May 31 and should take no more than six months to be completed.
The deadline is March 22.
