Documentary filmmakers can submit their work to the festival.
The Pärnu Documentary and Science Film Festival will take place on Oct. 6–13 in Pärnu and Oct 13–20.
The festival focuses on folk arts, disappearing cultures and the future of young people. Its program includes films on the social problems of all contemporary societies, portraits of creative people, and movies on professional and folk arts.
The categories include competition for Estonian TV content, international documentaries, docs for kids, docs by students and national documentaries.
Films must include commentary, dialogue or subtitles in English.
The winners will receive authentic ethnic handicrafts of recognized Estonian masters.
The registration fee is EUR15.
The deadline is June 1.
