News organizations based in Brazil can submit proposals to this fund.
Codesinfo, a new innovation fund launched by the Institute for the Development of Journalism (Projor), and supported by the Google News Initiative (GNI), is seeking innovative solutions to counter online disinformation in Brazil.
News organizations listed under the News Atlas, a project of Projor mapping the local journalism in Brazil, are eligible to apply. Submitted proposals may be conducted in collaboration with other news organizations, journalism collectives, developers and researchers.
Selected projects will receive up to BRL100,000 and mentoring.
The application deadline is Jan. 29, 2024.
