South Sudanese journalists based in Juba, with an interest in investigative reporting, can apply for a program.

InfoNile, in partnership with Classic FM in Juba, offers a training, mentorship and story grants program to empower journalists in South Sudan to report on issues of environmental degradation, human rights abuse and financial crimes.

The program includes two practical training workshops, online mentorship, grants and equipment, and the publication of stories.

After the first training, the program will support 10 journalists with a story grant of at least US$700 each.

The program runs from January to August 2024.

The deadline is Dec. 30.
