News outlets in Liberia are eligible for a program that focuses on independent journalism.
New Narratives, with support from the Swedish International Development Agency, is organizing a program that will boost quality independent and investigative journalism in Liberia.
Six Liberian news outlets will be chosen to participate in the three-year program.
Successful newsrooms will receive: training in digital revenue opportunities and digital product development; time with a developer to work on a product; and training and mentoring in journalism and revenue generation grant opportunities and applications.
The news outlets will also be invited to select one to three journalists to become New Narratives fellows. The fellows will be eligible to apply for 30 investigative journalism grants per year, receive training and mentoring in investigative journalism, and more.
The deadline is June 21.
