Indigenous media networks and collectives—whether specializing in communication, photography, mural art, print media, community television or audiovisual, multimedia and digital production—are invited to apply.
Cultural Survival’s Indigenous Community Media Fund (ICMF) provides grants to initiatives led by Indigenous peoples, supporting projects that strengthen infrastructure, train journalists and promote sustainability.
Eligible initiatives include capacity-building programs, advocacy for Indigenous communication rights and innovative approaches to community engagement.
Special consideration is given to projects that center women, youth and diverse genders, as well as those addressing environmental justice and the impacts of climate change.
Grants of up to US$12,000 are available.
The application deadline is Jan. 26, 2025.
