Investigative journalists in Southeast Asia can apply for a five-year contractual job.
The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) is hiring a resident investigative journalism editor to lead a five-year, multimillion-dollar program in Southeast Asia focused on building investigative journalism networks.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in investigative reporting, have worked extensively in the Asia-Pacific region and be an effective manager with experience leading editorial teams and complex, multi-year projects.
The editor will work closely with ICFJ management and local partners in identifying key objectives, designing a project plan and monitoring and evaluating plans for this five-year, regional initiative.
In addition, the editor will oversee the intricate logistical and editorial details of the project from inception to implementation. This role will oversee in-country staff members.
The starting salary is US$100,000.
