ICFJ seeks business journalism professor [Worldwide]

Journalism professors with experience covering business or economics can apply for a position in Beijing, China.

The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) is seeking a faculty member to teach business journalism during its 2025 to 2026 Global Business Journalism Program at Beijing’s Tsinghua University.

The faculty member will teach courses on general and business reporting to graduate students from China and other countries around the world each semester.

Applicants must have at least five years of experience covering business or economics for a globally recognized media outlet; experience teaching at the university level and/or training professional journalists; and experience working internationally, ideally in China or elsewhere in Asia, strongly preferred.

A master’s degree or higher is required. Applicants must be fluent in English.

ICFJ is concurrently seeking an international co-director for this program and encourages interested applicants to apply for both positions.
