Media educators of BA and MA programs in journalism, mass communications, multimedia journalism, digital media and strategic communications in Georgia can apply for this program.

The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), with the support of the United States Embassy in Tbilisi, is partnering with the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the Arizona State University (ASU) to choose 10 media educators for a program focused on strengthening journalism education in Georgia.

The 12-month program begins in 2023.

Selected candidates will travel to the U.S. on a study tour of international news organizations and prominent journalism schools in Washington, D.C. and Phoenix, Arizona.

They also will participate in the trainings on digitally driven journalism trends and techniques, and attend the U.S. faculty-led practical trainings and discussions on best practices of journalism education and curriculum design.

The application deadline is Dec. 20.
