Investigative journalists in Panama can apply for a training program.
The International Center for Journalism (ICFJ), with support from the U.S. Embassy in Panama, launches the Journalism for Transparency program in Panama. This 18-month program aims to improve and increase coverage of government spending and governance by training journalists on data and investigative journalism.
This initiative includes webinars, workshops and project grants with mentorship to empower local journalists.
Registration for the webinars is now open. The webinars will be held Jan. 13 and Jan. 20, 2025.
Applicants must participate in the webinars before applying for the training workshops.
