Journalists based in the Middle East, Asia, Latin America or Africa can apply for a fellowship.
The New Humanitarian is accepting applications for its Humanitarian Reporting Fellowship. The program offers a locally-focused journalist from the Global South the opportunity to gain skills in reporting, framing and presenting local stories for global audiences as part of The New Humanitarian’s global newsroom.
The fellow will experiment with multimedia reporting techniques and develop innovative reporting formats.
This is a six-month fellowship running from May to November.
A US$2,500 monthly stipend will be provided.
The deadline is March 31.
