Journalists who report on human rights violations can enter this contest.
The Justice and Human Rights Movement in Brazil is accepting entries for its 38th Human Rights Journalism Prize.
Eligible stories must have been published or broadcast between Nov. 16, 2020 and Nov. 15, 2021 in print, radio, TV and news sites.
Categories include print, photography, radio, TV, digital, documentary, book and an exclusive category for journalism students.
There will also be a special prize for the best story that shows the intersections between human rights and the impacts of COVID-19 on education, economy, unemployment, health systems and/or the environment.
Application deadline is Nov. 19.
